After so many months, I’m really excited that I can actually launch TOTM into the world. It’s been a very, very long time that I’ve been wanting to do this, but we’re actually launching today. We’ve got a whole new website, we’ve got our content plan, and now we’re looking to find our first 100 clients. To kick this off, we’re starting with this blog, which is great.

First off, let me just explain what TOTM is.

The Personal Story Behind Why We Created TOTM

The reason we created TOTM is actually a bit of a personal story on my side.

My name’s Darren Arbuckle, and what I used to do was create Monday.com systems for businesses. (Still doing that by the way). What I found really difficult was training people on how to use these new systems.

It’s an absolute mission to get people to use a new system. It really is so difficult. I mean, I took a lot of approaches. I hated creating the training content because no one was actually going to use it. It got to a point where I was doing one-minute, TikTok-sized videos, and they still wouldn’t watch that. What people would do is just ask me questions, or break it, or not use the system as they should. And that got really, really irritating.

The problem was, I had a lot of clients, and I was onboarding a few at once. Unfortunately, the stress got to me, and I ended up in the hospital. The doctors weren’t really sure why, but I knew it was from the stress of this entire thing.

It was in that hospital, though, that I decided I wanted to create TOTM. I wanted to find a way to literally be behind someone, telling them what to do when they needed my help. That’s the best time when people are willing to learn: when they actually need to use it. But the problem is, I’m only human, and I could only stretch myself so far.

Now with AI, we have the ability to actually do this. We can train people on demand when they need it, and we can also make the training super accessible.

That’s really what I wanted to do. The accessibility of the training material was so important for me to put onto WhatsApp or Slack because I really wanted to meet people where they were

I wanted it to be easier for them to contact TOTM rather than Darren.

TOTM’s Larger Mission: Making People Better with AI

That’s really why we created TOTM. And TOTM is just a small part of a larger mission, which is we really want to help people use AI to augment themselves, to make themselves even better.

TOTM is not a product that replaces people. TOTM is a product that just makes them better. It makes them use their systems better, it makes them follow processes better. By doing that, they’re going to make themselves exceptional, and they’re going to be able to add more value to companies.

Obviously, in this day and age with AI cutting so many jobs, We really want to focus on the learning and development side of things, and we want to focus on change management, because there’s going to be a lot of change happening. Our mission at TOTM is to make people better using AI to teach them how to use it, and so on. That’s really why we are doing this.

The Pain Points We’re Trying to Solve

Another thing I want to talk about is the pain points we’re trying to solve.

Training is difficult. It really is hard. And we want to make it easy for people to access training information. Accessing training information to people is an issue, even if it’s on a website a couple of clicks away, people are really lazy. That’s just the nature of it. They would rather ask than look, and that’s really what we’re trying to do with TOTM.

But again, you don’t want them to go to a portal to ask, because people are lazy. They don’t want to go there.

That’s why the pain point we’re really trying to solve is: how can we make people engage with the training content that you create? How it can we make it super easy to access?

Because creating that content takes a ton of time, and it really is a waste if people aren’t using it.

The other pain point we want to address is identifying where the gaps are in the training material. When we’re creating training material, we’re not going to know everything. We’re going to miss things. The problem is, if the training material isn’t addressing an issue, people are going to constantly keep having that question.

What’s really nice about TOTM is it analyzes the questions people are asking. What’s cool about this is it does two things:

So it really comes down to those two things. That’s really the pain points we’re trying to solve.

Who We’re Trying to Help

Now, let me speak about who we’re trying to help. TOTM, we’ve made really, really affordable for all businesses, because AI is going to affect everybody, even small businesses, and we want to make certain that we’re able to help them.

Typically, the people who will find benefit in TOTM are, for instance, your systems administrators, IT managers, managers in general, actually.

Basically, if you want people to use your systems or follow your processes, TOTM is the tool for you.

TOTM is really good also for trainers. Trainers, you guys create all this content, and you can actually add this as a value add to your customers because now suddenly the trainer is with the people 24/7, and that is a really valuable add for trainers.

That’s really who we’re trying to help. And it can be for small to medium businesses. I think that’s really where we’re focusing with TOTM.
